ADVANCED CLINICAL PARAMETERS (ACP) FOR LABORATORIANS
OVERVIEW
Sysmex’s advanced clinical parameters (ACP) were developed by considering how expanding the routine CBC might affect the care of patients and the healthcare system as a whole.
Due to Sysmex’s advanced hematology technology, ACP testing delivers rapid results without adding additional steps to your workflow or slowing turn-around time. ACP testing can easily become part of your routine workflow.
Three expanded CBC parameters are currently available: Immature Granulocytes (IG), Reticulocyte Hemoglobin (RET-He) and Immature Platelet Fraction (IPF). These parameters are automated, reportable immature cell indices with applications for clinicians.
Sysmex offers advanced measures of hematopoiesis.

IMMATURE GRANULOCYTE (IG)
Fluorescent flow cytometry with polymethine dye for nucleic acid staining allows for the enumeration of metamyelocytes, myelocytes, and promyelocytes. It is a reportable parameter that extends the WBC differential from a 5-part to a 6-part differential.

RETICULOCYTE HEMOGLOBIN (RET-He) RETICULOCYTE COUNT
The complete reticulocyte analysis includes reticulocyte count, immature reticulocyte fraction (IRF) and RET-He. This provides information on cell hemoglobinization and erythropoietic activity.

IMMATURE PLATELET FRACTION (IPF)
Immature platelet fraction utilizes fluorescent flow cytometry with proprietary platelet-specific oxazine dyes to identify immature platelets.
